Thirteen Privacy Policy

Thirteen is published by Civaren. The app works without an account. The standard version may show one Unity LevelPlay interstitial after a completed game when the host chooses to play again. Ads never appear at launch or during a hand. A one-time $4.99 store purchase permanently removes ads; it is not a subscription.

Information on your device

Thirteen stores player names or nicknames, avatar choices, game preferences, local statistics, purchase entitlement, and game progress on your device. Civaren does not receive this information through ordinary local play.

Photos

If you choose a personal table background, Thirteen uses the operating system's photo picker. The app receives only the photo you select and does not request broad access to your photo library or device storage. The selected image remains on your device.

Live Play

Optional Live Play lets two to four invited players on the same Wi-Fi network join with a six-character room code. The host coordinates the game and participating devices exchange the nickname, avatar, private hand, card counts, game actions, and timing data needed for that match. The code derives a room-scoped encryption key; the handshake and match messages use authenticated AES-256-GCM encryption, and network discovery advertises only a one-way room fingerprint rather than the code. Each participant receives only public table state and that participant's own hand. Civaren does not operate a server for Live Play, does not retain the session, and does not use this data for advertising. Use Live Play only on networks and with people you trust.

Purchases

Apple or Google processes the one-time ad-removal purchase and may process payment and transaction information under its own privacy policy. Civaren does not receive full payment-card details. The app reads the store entitlement so it can remove ads and restore the purchase.

Advertising diagnostics and identifiers

Thirteen includes Unity LevelPlay with Unity Ads as its advertising service. Depending on your in-app choice, region, device settings, and ad availability, Unity may process IP-derived approximate location, device identifiers, advertising data, product interactions, crash logs, and performance data for advertising, fraud prevention, and service operation. Thirteen does not request Apple's tracking permission.

Thirteen does not send cards, player names, local statistics, selected photos, or Live Play data to Unity LevelPlay or Unity Ads. Unity's handling of advertising data is governed by Unity's own terms and privacy policy.

Children

Thirteen is intended for people age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. It does not include wagering, prizes, or real-money gambling.

Your choices

The app asks whether eligible ads may be contextual or personalized before initializing Unity LevelPlay and provides an Ad privacy choices control. You can purchase permanent ad removal, restore that purchase through the store, or remove locally stored Thirteen data by deleting the app.
